Washington, D.C. – “When crime spikes in Massachusetts and crime spikes in New Hampshire, Democratic senators who are on the ballot next year are going to answer for it, and I promise you I will be there to make you answer for it if you vote for her today.”
Those were the words of Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) yesterday after Senator Maggie Hassan and 49 other Democrats voted to advance the nomination of radical Rachel Rollins to serve as U.S. Attorney in Massachusetts.
Among her list of lowlights as a George Soros-backed district attorney is a 2019 memo in which she instructed her office to default to not prosecuting a list of 15 crimes that put her at odds with the Massachusetts Governor. Those crimes were:
- Trespassing
- Shoplifting, including offenses that are essentially shoplifting, but charged as larceny
- Larceny under $250.
- Disorderly conduct.
- Disturbing the peace.
- Receiving stolen property.
- Minor driving offenses, including operating with a suspended or revoked license.
- Breaking and entering, where it is into a vacant property or is for the purpose of sleeping or seeking refuge from the cold and there is no actual damage to property.
- Wanton or malicious destruction of property.
- Threats (excluding domestic violence).
- Minors in possession of alcohol.
- Drug possession.
- Drug possession with intent to distribute.
- Resisting arrest where the only charge is resisting arrest.
- Resisting arrest if the other charges include only charges that fall under the list of charges for which prosecution is declined.
Absolutely crazy. Even crazier is that Maggie Hassan, whose state not only borders Massachusetts but shares a large transitory population with the Bay State, wants Rollins to oversee federal prosecutions in her neighboring, larger state.

They succeeded, and the good people of Boston and Suffolk County suffered. Now, Maggie Hassan and Senate Democrats want to put her in charge of federal policy that will bleed heavily into southern New Hampshire. She will be held responsible for once again putting politics in front of her constituents.”
