Washington, D.C. – The question is pretty straightforward, and a standard temperature check in politics: Is New Hampshire better off than it was one year ago?
According to polls, 74% of Granite Staters do not think so. We’d venture to guess none of them would hesitate to answer that straightforward question in the negative. The reason: Over-spending, inflation, overseas crises, woke educators, cancel culture – all advanced by the Left.
Well, apparently Maggie Hassan isn’t seeing what three-quarters of New Hampshire voters are seeing. Yesterday, this question was put to Hassan in Washington, and she unsurprisingly dodged the question.
At what point is ignoring reality in favor of political spin a self-defeating strategy? We will all find out in 259 days.
Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “Maggie Hassan can’t say whether or not New Hampshire is better off than a year ago because doing so would be admitting that her and her party’s agenda stinks. As she struggles to quickly rebrand herself, her voting record and attachment to the Biden agenda are sinking her reelection chances. You can ignore reality all you want, Senator, but working people back in New Hampshire do not have that luxury.”
