After more than 30 days since Governor Scott entered the Senate race, Bill Nelson has finally decided he should probably start campaigning, but according to the Tampa Bay Times he’s not letting Floridians know where he’ll even be.
Governor Scott, on the other hand, has been clearly visible to voters. He’s already held over 30 campaign events and is already up on the airwaves—all in just one month.
You’d think that after 46 years of running for public office, career politician Bill Nelson would have no problem listening and meeting with voters. Guess not.
“While Bill Nelson continues to avoid Floridians, Governor Scott has been taking his message directly to voters across the Sunshine State,” said NRSC Spokesperson Camille Gallo. “You can’t blame Bill Nelson though, it must be tough for him to face voters with no real record to run on.”
