Washington, D.C. – Tensions are running high as the House Budget Committee won’t be marking up the ‘Bernie Special’ socialist spending bill, meaning it won’t be voted on next week as promised.

Moderate House Democrats made it clear from the beginning that they wouldn’t vote on the reconciliation bill unless the infrastructure bill was taken up for a vote and passed. Meanwhile, Progressive House Democrats have been saying they won’t allow the bipartisan infrastructure bill to pass unless their reckless tax-and-spend spree is passed.

With all the Democrat infighting occurring in the House, we are all wondering where Senate hopefuls like Tim Ryan, Conor Lamb and Val Demings side on all of this.

Statement from NRSC Spokeswoman Priscilla Ivasco: “As someone looking for a promotion in Washington, Tim Ryan, Conor Lamb and Val Demings have chosen to take a back seat to one of the top policy issues on Capitol Hill. Are they willing to stand up to party leadership to avoid bankrupting our country by pushing through wasteful and reckless spending? Or are they all in with the radical Left’s tax-and-spend spree? If they have any hopes in 2022, they may want to step out of the shadows and speak up once in a while.”
