Washington, D.C. – If you thought Joe Biden’s approval rating couldn’t get any worse, you were wrong. A new Quinnipiac University poll released today has Biden’s numbers low enough to make any golfer jealous.
Here’s how low Joe can go:
- Overall: 38% of Americans approve of Joe Biden, while 52% disapprove.
- On foreign policy: 37% approve, while 54% disapprove.
- On the economy: 33% approve, while 61% disapprove.
- On Biden’s border crisis: 27% approve, while 60% disapprove.
- On which party Americans want in control of the Senate: 43% Republican, 42% Democrat.
38 is a great number to have on the front nine of a golf course, but not so good for a presidential approval rating. Joe Biden and Senate Democrats are leading this country in the wrong direction – and Americans know it.
A whopping 90 PERCENT of Americans say Joe Biden’s policies are either hurting their financial situation or not helping at all. Only 9 percent say Biden’s policies are helping.
Today we learned that GDP actually FELL by 1.4% in the last quarter, while inflation continues to rage. As Politico said this morning, “the numbers present a serious problem for Democrats who have been trying to convince voters that, apart from high inflation, the economy is in pretty good shape.”
With approval ratings this low, Joe Biden would be a great scramble partner. But vulnerable Senate Democrats aren’t trying to win a golf tournament, they’re trying to pretend that they aren’t on Joe Biden’s team. Unfortunately for them, voters in their states know that they’re on Joe Biden and Chuck Schumer’s side.
Senate Democrats like Mark Kelly, Raphael Warnock, Maggie Hassan, Catherine Cortez Masto, and Michael Bennet have a clear record of support for Joe Biden’s deeply unpopular agenda. As Biden’s numbers continue to drop, they’ll attempt to run away from Biden as fast as they can. But Americans know where they really stand.
