Just weeks after blasting Heidi Heitkamp for her foreign policy failures, KX4 host Chris Berg highlighted Heitkamp’s dangerous naivety on the issues that matter to North Dakotans.
Last night, Berg said, “my concern is that right now we’ve got a U.S. Senator who just does not seem to understand negotiation, business deals, and especially foreign policy.” While highlighting Heitkamp’s misunderstanding of trade negotiations that will boost North Dakota’s farmers and ranchers, Berg continued, “you’ve got to ask yourself some very serious questions about Senator Heidi Heitkamp.” Berg notes Heitkamp’s record of failing North Dakotans, citing her vote against North Dakota’s energy industry by supporting Obama’s disastrous methane rule, her vote to keep Obamacare in place, her support of the Iran Deal and her vote against the GOP tax cuts she claimed would hurt North Dakotans.
If Heidi Heitkamp can’t grasp the issues most important to North Dakotans, how can she be trusted to represent North Dakota values in the Senate?
