Today, Chuck Schumer and his radical squad of Socialists will attempt to ram through the Corrupt Politicians Act (H.R. 1 / S. 1), a blatant Democrat power grab that puts D.C. in control of state and local elections.
If you think D.C. bureaucrats controlling your state and local elections is bad, it gets worse…
The Corrupt Politicians Act would force hardworking American taxpayers to fund Democrats’ campaigns. The amount of tax dollars these campaigns would receive is significant, election-altering money.
Here’s how much hard-earned tax dollars some Democrats would receive:
- In Arizona, Mark Kelly would be eligible for as much as $18.8 million.
- In Georgia, Raphael Warnock would be eligible for as much as $25.8 million.
- In New Hampshire, Maggie Hassan would be eligible for as much as $9 million.
- In Nevada, Catherine Cortez Masto would be eligible for as much as $11.8 million.
- In Colorado, Michael Bennet would be eligible for as much as $16 million.
Voters should not be forced to fund campaigns they don’t support. That’s why a recent NRSC poll found that 56% of Americans don’t support using tax dollars to fund federal elections. Despite opposition from a majority of Americans, Senate Democrats are still pushing forward. Why? Because they’ve admitted that the Corrupt Politicians Act is their only hope for winning elections.
Will Senate Democrats like Mark Kelly, Raphael Warnock, Maggie Hassan, Catherine Cortez Masto, and Michael Bennet vote to line their campaign accounts with free money taken from hardworking Americans? Or will they stand up to their radical friends in D.C. and reject this corrupt Democrat power grab? We’ll find out soon enough.
