Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senate candidate Val Demings has chosen to remain silent on anti-Israel and anti-Semitic comments from her “squad” pal Ilhan Omar. Yesterday, she ducked questions about whether she agrees with Speaker Nancy Pelosi that Omar is a valuable member of the Democrat caucus.
As The Floridian wrote, “Demings has remained relatively silent and has not entertained questions about controversial Rep. Omar (D-MN), who has stirred up controversy after calling Israeli foreign aid an “act of terrorism” and has been branded by some of her GOP colleagues as a member of the “Jihad Squad.”
Omar recently equated the U.S. to the terror group Hamas.
Yesterday the NRSC posted a video of Rep. Demings being asked by a reporter “Do you agree with Nancy Pelosi that Ilhan Omar is a valued member of the caucus?” The representative refuses to respond and proceeds to walk away from the reporter along with two staffers.
Demings was also seen dodging several reporter’s requests for comment as she entered the House chamber to vote.”
So, the question still remains. Where does Val Demings stand? Will she continue to be silent and show implicit support for Ilhan Omar’s anti-Semitic comments? Floridians are waiting.
