Washington, D.C. – John Fetterman has been known to hide behind the screen during this campaign. It’s not just because he is hiding from questions about his radical positions, but because he isn’t as tough as he claims. Just take a look at yesterday’s dichotomy:

Fetterman behind the screen: TOUGH GUY.

Yesterday, Fetterman launched a new ad claiming he’s a tough guy on crime. He “wears Braddock’s past on his sleeves” and he claims that “Dr. Oz wouldn’t last 2 hours in Braddock.” Is that because the town isn’t safe?? Crime did SKYROCKET in Braddock while Fetterman was mayor of the town…

Fetterman in real life: COWARD.

Also, yesterday, Fetterman put out a whiny statement refusing to debate because he’s too weak and feeble and because Oz and his team were mean to him by raising questions about his health, his transparency on his health and his ability to serve. Sounds like Fetterman can’t last 2 seconds on a debate stage.

Statement from NRSC Spokeswoman Lizzie Litzow: “Pennsylvanians are starting to see right through this ‘tough guy’ persona that Fetterman is trying to portray on screen. In reality, he is a whiny coward who won’t face Dr. Oz on the debate stage because he refuses to answer any questions from press and voters on his radical policy positions that would devastate Pennsylvania communities.”
