A key inflation indicator – the personal consumption expenditures price index – rose 3.5% in June, marking a “sharp acceleration.” According to CNBC, the sharp June increase “represents the biggest move since July 1991.”
At a time when inflation indicators are reaching thirty-year highs, the Biden Administration and Senate Democrats are insisting on moving forward their reckless tax-and-spend spree. Senate Democrats actually believe that inflation is not “relevant to their attempts to expand the role of the federal government.” Translation? Senate Democrats care more about transforming America into a socialist country than they do about the economic well-being of low- and fixed-income Americans.
Instead of helping American families succeed, Senate Democrats like Maggie Hassan, Mark Kelly, Catherine Cortez Masto, Raphael Warnock, and Michael Bennet are squarely focused on passing their inflation-inducing, reckless tax and spending spree.
