Washington, D.C. – In 2017, Maggie Hassan joined a bipartisan group of Senators to adamantly defend the filibuster. In 2020 alone, Hassan joined Democrats to invoke the filibuster and kill Republican legislation 300 times!
Now, as her poll numbers continue to plummet, Maggie Hassan has decided to throw a Hail Mary, flip-flopping on the filibuster to pass Democrats’ Washington takeover of federal elections. This bill would take power out of the hands of New Hampshire’s legislature and give it to Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer. Worse yet, it would all but spell the end for New Hampshire’s First-In-The-Nation primary, according to New Hampshire’s Democrat Secretary of State.
Why would Hassan commit such a blatant flip-flop that would hurt her constituents? Look what she did after her dystopian floor speech. Following her remarks, Hassan went to talk to liberal Rachel Maddow on MSNBC and coupled that appearance with fundraising asks!
Did Hassan flip-flop and threaten New Hampshire’s #FITN primary to help secure the funding to run a competitive race? Looks like it.

Maggie Hassan has gone back on her word and surrendered the fate of New Hampshire’s First-In-The-Nation primary to her buddy Chuck Schumer. What’s most concerning is it appears she surrendered her state’s federal election control to win liberal praise from the radical base she hopes will fund her campaign. It’s clear that Maggie Hassan is entering desperation mode.”
