Washington, D.C. — The votes are not yet 100% counted in Nevada, but one thing is very clear, Republican turnout was much stronger than that of Democrats.
To be specific, as of now, 58,093 more Republicans voted in the Nevada primaries than Democrats.
All year in Nevada, Republicans have been adding new voters at an unprecedented rate, and many nonpartisan voters are switching to the GOP.
At a time when the state rates second in the nation for highest gas prices, and Las Vegas is among the cities hardest hit by the baby formula shortage, it’s not hard to see why voters want a serious change in Washington.
Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “You can’t manufacture voter enthusiasm out of thin air, and a primary voting disparity like this in Nevada is special. Democrat policy failure on a historic level has helped move Nevada further and further toward the GOP. Now, Adam Laxalt and the NRSC will do the work to communicate the vision that will turn Nevada red in November.”
