Washington, D.C. – The NRSC launched its latest Spanish language television ad in Nevada, highlighting the ways Catherine Cortez Masto does not support law enforcement in Nevada. The ad is called “Ley Y Orden,” which is translated to “Law and Order.”
As Attorney General, Catherine Cortez Masto allowed convicted criminals to be released early. Now, as a Senator, she voted to block funding to stop drug trafficking and sent millions of dollars to criminals in prison. Cortez Masto does not support law enforcement who put their lives on the line every day to keep her constituents safe.

Translation:
Catherine Cortez Masto claims to support the police
But she turned her back on law enforcement and Nevada.
Releasing violent criminals into our communities
And protecting violent rioters.
While supporting activists who want to defund the police.
Law enforcement groups retracted their endorsement of Catherine Cortez Masto because she doesn’t have their back.
That’s why Nevadans can’t back Catherine Cortez Masto.

Statement from NRSC Hispanic Press Secretary, Juan Arias: “Catherine Cortez Masto’s record of releasing convicted criminals, blocking funding to stop drug trafficking, and sending millions of dollars to criminals behind bars shows that she has turned her back on law enforcement and Nevada. Law enforcement and the communities she says she represents deserves someone better who is willing to stand up for Nevada’s interests in the U.S. Senate, not defund the police.”
