Last night, Hoosier voters delivered some bad news to Mexico Joe Donnelly with GOP Senate candidates getting 505,470 votes, compared to his own 283,133, as of this afternoon. And today, Mexico Joe illustrated what a tough position he’s in, as he was unable to answer a question on whether he’d repeal the Trump-Pence tax cuts.
Feeling the burn after failing to turn his base out to the polls, Mexico Joe railed against the tax cuts to reporters. But when asked whether he’d support repealing them and raising taxes on Hoosier families, Mexico Joe punted, replying, “That’s not even on my radar.” That’s a bit of an odd statement since repeal of the tax cuts has been stated as a top goal of Mexico Joe’s Democratic Party leaders. Just this week, his good friend and donor Nancy Pelosi confirmed that Democrats will push for repeal if they take control of Congress.
It’s time for Mexico Joe to tell Hoosiers where he stands – will he support his liberal party leaders’ plan to raise taxes on Hoosier families and businesses?
