Washington, D.C. – Today, it was announced that Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer will retire at the end of the court’s current term. This announcement will set up Joe Biden’s first Supreme Court nomination as President and will be voted on by a 50-50 Senate.
Statement from NRSC Chairman Rick Scott: “The Democrats know they will lose the Senate majority in 2022. I predict that Chuck Schumer and whoever is running the White House will force all Democrats to obey and walk the plank in support of a radical liberal with extremist views.”
