Washington, D.C. – Today, the NRSC launched a seven-figure ad campaign in New Hampshire to highlight Senator Maggie Hassan’s anti-American energy record, both in the Senate and as Governor.

The first ad is entitled “Gullible,” which is what she believes New Hampshire voters are, in light of her most recent television ad in which she touted her proposed gas tax suspension gimmick.

As “Gullible” points out, Hassan:

  • Voted against Natural Gas exploration.
  • Voted against the Keystone Pipeline.
  • Raised the gas tax by 23% as Governor.

Watch the ad here:

Sen. Hassan is a big reason why America is not energy independent and New Hampshirites are paying for it at the pump.

Statement from NRSC Chairman Rick Scott: “Maggie Hassan is doing all she can to pretend she’s someone she’s not.  Her record shows that she’s fought against American energy independence and caused record high gas prices.  Unfortunately for Hassan, Granite Staters are anything but gullible and will send her packing in November.”
