Colin Allred votes with radical Democrats and said he wished the Second Amendment had never been written:
- In April 2018, Allred said of the Second Amendment, “Would it be better had it not been written? Of course. Of course.”
- In February 2023, Allred opposed a resolution disapproving of Washington D.C.’s radical criminal code overhaul, which would have reduced sentences for violent criminals.
- In January 2023, Allred opposed ending Joe Biden’s Covid state of emergency.
- In March 2023, Allred opposed overturning Joe Biden’s WOTUS rule.
