Washington, D.C. — Ahead of President Biden’s speech blaming Republicans for the inflation caused by Joe Biden and Senate Democrats, NRSC Communications Director Chris Hartline released the following statement:
“While almost every Democrat in the country wants to talk about abortion this week – including Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats who have teed up a vote legalizing late-term abortion up until the moment of birth – Joe Biden has decided to spend today talking about inflation. It’s clear the left hand doesn’t know what the far-left hand is doing.
“It’s yet another example of the political incompetence that’s come to define this White House. Voters rate inflation as their top concern and most rightly blame Joe Biden and Democrats. The more Joe Biden talks about inflation, the better it is for Republicans. He’s said he will be on the campaign trail this year and we welcome that. We hope he spends every day in our target states talking about inflation.”
