Washington, D.C. – Yesterday, the Federal Reserve announced that it expects inflation to climb to 3.4% this year, a full percentage point higher than they predicted only three months ago.
This inflation is causing prices to skyrocket on everything from groceries to gasoline, and it is working-class Americans who are getting hurt the most. In fact, in battleground states like New Hampshire, inflation has replaced COVID-19 as the top concern of voters.
The causes of inflation are clear: a surging money supply coupled with record-setting, reckless government spending. The result is inflation now at a 13-year high.
The bad news for Americans is there is no end in sight for the tax-and-spend policies of the Biden Administration and Senate Democrats have zero desire to say “the era of big government is over.”
