6 days out and Senate Dems are hitting the panic button in Minnesota in a last-ditch effort to save Tina Smith.
As #NoShowTina continues her abysmal campaign performance, Democrats are being forced to spend crucial resources to shore up what they assumed was a safe seat with reports showing the DSCC has booked its first television buy in the state.
The new television buy comes on top of news yesterday that Chuck Schumer’s super PAC, Senate Majority PAC, is spending $400,000 on Smith’s behalf.
Looks like Smith should have bothered to show up to debate Karin Housley.
“Senate Dems are finally realizing that Tina Smith is completely out of touch with Minnesota voters and in serious trouble,” said NRSC Spokesman Michael McAdams. “Minnesotans want nothing to do with a Senator who wants their vote yet can’t even show up to debate her opponent.”
