Remember last week when Rob Portman received the endorsement of the United Mine Workers of America’s (UMWA) National Council of Coal Miners Political Action Committee (COMPAC) endorsement?

Clearly, Retread Ted Strickland does too.

That’s why he’s busy with his damage control tour through Appalachia. In addition to losing the endorsement of an organization that supported him in both 2006 and 2010, Strickland is trailing by double-digits in polls as well…in his former congressional district!

Retread Ted is bleeding support in Appalachia, and for good reason. Since his time representing the 6th district, Strickland moved to D.C. for his “dream job” where he supported and advocated for anti-gun, anti-coal, and countless other damaging policies that hurt Ohioans.
