While Senate Democrats continue to offer nothing but blind ‘resistance’, the Republican Majority is getting things done for the American people. And, in the wake of the GOP tax cuts, all indicators show that the economy is surging.
A new report today confirms that Republican tax relief has revitalized the auto market as new car sales surged in March, leading one analyst to remark, “The impact of tax reform may now be kicking in and lifting the market above previous expectations” and that little could explain the surging sales “except for the potential impact of December’s tax cuts that fattened some consumers’ paychecks.”
A second report from ADP and Moody’s Analytics delivered even better news, showing that businesses added 241,000 new jobs, the fifth straight month with more than 200,000 jobs added to private payrolls. This double dose of good news comes just a week after a report showing that economic growth for the 4th quarter came in above expectations at 2.9%.
“While Democrats grandstand and obstruct, the Republican Majority is working for the American people, and getting our economy back on track after years of stagnation,” said NRSC Communications Director Katie Martin. “The GOP tax cuts have had a clear, positive effect on our economy, so why are Senate Democrats still pushing to repeal them?”
