Washington, D.C. – Mere weeks after Chuck Schumer and Democrats blew $10 million on a fool’s errand to meddle in the Colorado Republican primary, they are at it again, this time in New Hampshire.
Schumer’s Senate Majority PAC has put $3.2 million into an ad campaign designed to meddle in the New Hampshire Republican primary.
Their bigger concern, however, should be how weak Maggie Hassan is, as polling indicates she is currently in tight races with every potential Republican opponent.
Not only are her polling numbers weak but so is her base of support. Just in the last few days, Hassan has received more backlash from the progressive Left in her state. While Hassan may have avoided a primary, she still has to fight to find a reason for them to vote.
Dem meddling won’t save the weakest Democrat incumbent in the U.S. Senate, Maggie Hassan.
Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “We are sure many New Hampshire Democrats are thrilled to see their party waste millions on meddling in the Republican primary when they can’t even get their base to support their incumbent. The NRSC has faith in the voters of New Hampshire and zero in Chuck Schumer’s understanding of New Hampshire.”
