Washington, D.C. – For months, Joe Biden and Senate Democrats have falsely claimed that their ‘Build Back Broke’ agenda wouldn’t cost American taxpayers a single penny. Of course, that’s a lie – even with all of the Democrats’ budget gimmicks taken into consideration. The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) analysis found that with gimmicks included, the Democrats’ reckless spending spree would add $367 billion to the deficit.

But it gets worse.

When Democrats have to get honest about their Build Back Broke agenda and remove all of the bill’s shell games and hidden spending, the CBO recently announced that their socialist spending spree would add $3 trillion to the deficit. That is a far cry from Biden’s $0 claim. Even with this very real CBO score in-hand, Biden cronies Jen PsakiChuck Schumer, and Nancy Pelosi are decrying it as a “fake” score. Why? Because Democrats prioritize passing a far-Left, radical agenda over acknowledging the disastrous reality of their plan to Build Back Broke.

As the Wall Street Journal Editorial Board wrote:

“Democratic leaders Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer reacted furiously to this news, falling back on their claims that the Build Back Better Act is ‘fully paid for.’ Mrs. Pelosi says CBO has scored Mr. Graham’s ‘imaginary bill.’ But her bill is the real fiscal fantasy and ‘fully paid for’ is the lie of the year.

“All of this gives Mr. Manchin, and other Democrats hiding behind his skepticism, ample ammunition to call the whole thing off. If this bill passes, they’ll own all of the deficits, debt and inflation that result.”

Senate Democrats have openly admitted their intentions to make every single program in the Build Back Broke plan permanent, despite the most recent CBO score. So why are Democrats like Catherine Cortez Masto, Maggie Hassan, Raphael Warnock, Mark Kelly, and Michael Bennet continuing to promote budget lies?
