Washington, D.C. – Joe Biden’s foreign policy in the Middle East has been one disaster after another. His botched Afghanistan withdrawal left 13 U.S. service members dead, and thousands of Americans stranded. He continues to appease Iran and called on Israel to “de-escalate” after a terrorist group launched rocket attacks on Israeli civilians.
As Biden prepares to travel to the Middle East next week, he’s blaming the previous administration for his failures and falsely claiming that the Middle East is more secure than it was 18 months ago. Biden’s weak and confusing foreign policy in the Middle East has done nothing but turn U.S. allies against us. He’s undoing the historic progress the Trump Administration made towards Middle East peace with the Abraham Accords.
As usual, Senate Democrats are silent on Joe Biden’s failed policies. Do they support Biden’s decision to travel to Saudi Arabia and beg for oil that should be produced in the United States? Do they agree that the Middle East is more stable and secure than it was 18 months ago? And, most importantly, when will Senate Democrats finally hold Joe Biden accountable for his deadly Afghanistan withdrawal?
