A new analysis from FiveThirtyEight found that as Sherrod Brown is gearing up for the race of his life, he’s doing everything he can to hide his record of rubber-stamping Joe Biden’s agenda in the Senate.
Despite representing a state Biden lost by 8 points in 2020, Sherrod Brown voted with Joe Biden 98.5% of the time last Congress. Now that he’s up for reelection, FiveThirtyEight found that Brown is trying to hide his liberal record by voting no on “less consequential” issues designed to “give vulnerable senators political cover.”
“From the southern border to crime to inflation, Sherrod Brown is out of step with Ohio voters on every issue. Throwing inconsequential votes won’t be enough to cover up Sherrod Brown’s 50-year career of rubber-stamping Democrats’ agenda.” – NRSC Spokesman Philip Letsou
