Washington, D.C. – Tonight, National Republican Senatorial Committee Communications Director Chris Hartline released the following statement after Senator Mark Kelly’s campaign moved to intervene to stop voting in Arizona.

“After clear issues with a significant percentage of voting machines and tabulation in Arizona, the NRSC, along with the Republican National Committee and the Blake Masters and Kari Lake campaigns, filed suit in state court to extend voting hours in Maricopa County. It’s clear that Mark Kelly is losing, and he wants to deny Arizonans the opportunity to cast their ballots.

“With clear and obvious technical issues, there should be ample opportunity for Arizonans to cast their ballots and let their voices be heard. Apparently, Democracy only matters to Mark Kelly and his hack lawyers when they think they can gain votes.”
