Washington, D.C. – An Arizona border town is suffering the consequences of Joe Biden and Mark Kelly’s border crisis. The Mayor and County Sheriff of Yuma, Arizona recently spoke out about how Biden and Kelly’s border policies are squeezing Yuma’s resources.
Yuma County Sheriff Leon Wilmot told the Daily Caller News Foundation that local residents can’t get the help they need because resources “are being taken away” by the Biden-Kelly border crisis. Yuma’s Mayor, Douglas Nicholls, said that the current situation in Yuma is unsustainable.
223,000 illegal immigrants have crossed the border into Yuma County so far in FY ’22, including 23,000 migrants who are known to have evaded apprehension. Yuma officials are pleading with the federal government for help.
Meanwhile, Mark Kelly is nowhere to be found. His only solution is to write letters to the Biden Administration. And Kelly’s voting record is a major reason why this crisis exists in the first place. He voted to end Title 42 without a plan, voted to send stimulus checks to illegal immigrants, and voted to defund border security programs.
Biden and Kelly’s amnesty and open borders agenda is dangerous for Arizona. Towns like Yuma are reaching a breaking point and need help from the federal government. But they shouldn’t hold their breath because Mark Kelly is going to side with Joe Biden over Arizonans every single time.
