Washington, D.C. – We weren’t sure which Tim Ryan we would get tonight. He follows wherever the political winds are blowing, and as a 20-year career politician, Tim Ryan’s been all over the map on almost every issue. So, it’s kind of like he’s debating himself.
Here is Tim Ryan vs. Tim Ryan on abortion:
Tim Ryan was once a pro-life member of Congress. But with today’s political environment, the Democrat party would never accept that. So, to suck up to his boss, Ryan flip-flopped. He fully supports late-term abortions and taxpayer funding for abortions at home and abroad. Plus, he REFUSES to say if there should be ANY abortion restrictions.
Not only did Tim Ryan vote to allow for taxpayer funded abortions THREE TIMES; he also voted to allow for taxpayer funding of organizations that promote coercive abortions and involuntary sterilizations. (Page 13 of this PDF and Page 18 of this PDF)
He also voted for the so-called Women’s Health Protection Act, which would allow abortions up until the moment of birth without any limits.
