Washington, D.C. – Val Demings is once again overshadowed by her own Democrat colleagues in Florida who aren’t afraid to take a strong position on important policy issues that impact many in the state of Florida.
Let’s compare Demings’ and FL Dem State Sen. Annette Taddeo’s responses to the Biden Administration’s reckless idea to negotiate a deal with the murderous Maduro regime.
Demings is “deeply skeptical.” While Taddeo states, “If America was down to its last barrel and Venezuela was giving oil away for free, we still shouldn’t go to the Maduro regime for help.”
If that’s the best Demings can do, then she might as well have said nothing at all.
Statement From NRSC Spokeswoman Priscilla Ivasco: “Demings’ failure to take a strong position on important issues in her state is just embarrassing. While Florida leaders are expressing outrage, Demings has responded with empty words. Floridians don’t want a weak leader who would rather appease Washington Democrats than stand on the right side of the issues. And in November they will make sure she knows it.”
