Hypocrite Demings Now Has “Critical Concerns” with Agreement She Claimed Iran Was “Living Up To”
Washington, D.C. – Florida Congresswoman Val Demings continues to prove to voters that she goes wherever the political winds blow.
After years of being a supporter of the Iran Deal, Demings’ is now singing a different tune to try to win votes.
Let’s take a stroll down memory lane:
- In October 2017, Demings’ tweeted: “…undermining The #IranDeal Makes Addressing Those Threats More Difficult.”
- In 2018, Demings’ criticized President Donald Trump for withdrawing from the Iran Deal. “President Trump has removed the United States from a multilateral agreement, taken away our strength at the enforcement table, and undermined past, current, and future good-faith agreements.”
- In 2019, Demings claimed Iran was “living up to” the deal.
- In 2020, Demings stated, “We had an ability to monitor Iran’s movements and actions and behavior. We have absolutely no ability to do that.”
- And in 2022, she was happy to accept the endorsement of Iran Deal supporters.
So what’s changed? Just yesterday, Demings joined colleagues expressing ‘critical concerns’ with a new Iran Deal. Fear of losing is catching up to Val.
Statement from NRSC Spokeswoman Priscilla Ivasco: “Val Demings can flip and flop all she wants, but her past cannot be erased. Val Demings doesn’t really care about taking a serious position on major policy issues. She just says and does whatever she thinks will help get her votes. Sorry Val, Floridians aren’t buying your latest media stunt.”
