The NRSC is going up with a new digital ad in Montana today highlighting just how cozy Senator Tester has made himself in the D.C. “swamp.” Jon Tester loves to pretend he hasn’t lost his Montana roots, but his $1 million Washington, D.C. home, the $3 million he’s added to his personal wealth while in office and his lavish $15,000 vacation with Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer, sure tell a different story.
The truth is, Senator Tester has spent the last decade in Washington chumming up to lobbyists, getting rich in office and rubber stamping D.C. liberals’ agenda more than 90% of the time. Montanans are tired of Tester’s phony act and are ready to elect a Senator who will work for them.
“Jon Tester has spent the last 12 years in Congress living quite the life, cozying up to special interests, jet-setting around the world and enjoying his million dollar ‘Cosmopolitan Castle’ where he lives in Washington, D.C.,” said NRSC Spokesman Calvin Moore. “Montanans are seeing through Senator Tester’s two-faced charade and are excited to elect a Senator who will put their interests first.”
