Washington, D.C. – Senator Raphael Warnock once said we need to “reimagine policing.” What does he mean by that? Well, he doesn’t love to talk about it, but one thing is clear: the organizations endorsing him know exactly what it means. He’s fine with defunding the police.
Don’t take our word for it. Here are just two organizations whose endorsements Warnock has openly touted:
Warnock does not have to accept any group’s endorsement, and at the very least, he doesn’t need to promote it. But he chose to do so anyway, even with the knowledge that they are working to defund our men and women in blue.
Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “We shouldn’t be defunding the police but rather we should be getting them the resources they need to fight the current crime spree in America. Raphael Warnock aligns himself with groups that advocate and donate money to advancing the cause of defunding the police. That is unacceptable to the people of Georgia and those like Herschel Walker who will always support our police officers.”
