Washington, D.C. – It’s a disappointing day for Nevada Senate watchers because Nevada’s least effective Senator’s scheduled appearances with Joe Manchin were cancelled. What Nevadans would have seen on the campaign trail was a tale of two very different Senators. Cortez Masto recently voted to allow critical race theory to be taught in schools, use taxpayer dollars to fund abortions even for babies with Down Syndrome, abolish fracking, and fuel the ongoing border crisis. Joe Manchin rejected these extreme policies, bucking Chuck Schumer and Cortez Masto to stand firm against each of these far-Left policies.
Those aren’t the only policy differences between fake moderate Catherine Cortez Masto and Joe Manchin.
Cortez Masto is one of the leading supporters of the $3.5 trillion (really $5.5 trillion) reckless tax and spending spree that would remake America into a socialist nation. For his part, Manchin is urging party leaders to reconsider their reckless spending approach. And Cortez Masto is the only one in this pair who supports the Corrupt Politicians Act, which would ban popular voter ID laws, give the federal government control of local elections, and allow politicians to use taxpayer money to fund liberal attack ads.
Nevadans deserve to know why Catherine Cortez Masto chooses to be a puppet for Chuck Schumer’s far-Left agenda instead of doing what is best for the Silver State.
