It looks like more and more people are noticing Bill Nelson is no where to be found on the campaign trail, while Rick Scott is taking his “make Washington work” message all over Florida.

Even Bill Nelson admitted, “I have to be smarter, faster, quicker.”

And Democrats in the state are noticing too, with one activist remarking, “I get asked all time, when is Bill Nelson coming?” And the Chairman of the Democratic Club of North Florida acknowledged, “we’ve got to get engaged.”

Remember, the Tampa Bay Times once said, “(Nelson) is not seen as a forceful voice in debates and cuts a ghostly presence in capitol halls,” so this disappearing act is right on par for the career politician.

“Career politician Bill Nelson has been a ghost in the capitol and, unsurprisingly, he’s now a ghost on the campaign trail,” said Camille Gallo, NRSC Spokesperson.  “After 46 years of running for office and no real accomplishments, Bill Nelson won’t be able to hide from voters much longer.”
