Washington, D.C. – Most Granite Staters will tell you that Maggie Hassan is all but invisible in their state, except for the deluge of attack ads from her and her allies attempting to smear and distort the positions of General Don Bolduc.
But her invisibility is to be expected as New Hampshire falls dead last in the pecking order of homes she owns.
- Her luxury condo in Washington, DC.
- Her $3.5 million beach home in Rhode Island.
- Her $924,000 condo in Cambridge, MA.
- Her home in Newfields, NH.
To be fair, we can understand why. Hassan’s 97% voting record plays much better in DC, the ritzy town of Little Compton, RI, and the people’s republic of Cambridge, MA than in the Granite State.
Given her priorities, it’s no wonder that many are suspecting that Maggie Hassan will sell her New Hampshire home for a plush job in DC or Boston when she loses her Senate seat. She already is a seldom-seen neighbor to most in the state.
Meanwhile, Granite Staters are suffering from federal government overreach into their state. Overreach that has impacted the economy and made their lives harder. Overreach that Maggie Hassan has enabled.
Governor Chris Sununu has done all he can to stem the tide. But the Governor and all Granite Staters need a champion in Washington to truly fight back. General Don Bolduc will serve New Hampshire with the same pride and energy he served our nation over his storied career in the U.S. Army.
Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “The summer season along the beaches of Rhode Island has come to an end and Maggie Hassan has settled back into her Washington condo. Not much time for her home state when ‘duty calls’ elsewhere. Granite Staters deserve better than a senator who is absent during their most trying times.”
