Fox 5 DC covered Marylanders’ reaction to Congressman David Trone using a racial slur in a House committee hearing during an exchange with Shalanda Young, director of the Office of Management and Budget.
“I think he should retract…As someone who is representing somebody, I think getting a little more background as to the words and terms you are using is extremely, extremely helpful,” said one Marylander.
“I have a low opinion of his character, so we’ll leave it that way,” said another.
