Washington, D.C. – Today, National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman Rick Scott released the below statement announcing the Committee has raised over $173 million this cycle to date and spent over $21 million on television ads this cycle. The $173.4 million raised represents a record for the NRSC and the committee has started spending on television advertising earlier than ever by the NRSC to define the radical Democrats.
NRSC Chairman Rick Scott: “Democrats continue to deliver a blow to the confidence of American families. Their radical Left agenda is leaving hard-working Americans scraping by to make ends meet. Our goal from the start was to define the Democrats for their actions in Washington that are destroying the American Dream and that is exactly what we have done. So far, we have spent over $21 million in tv ads in target states both in Spanish and in English to show voters exactly what they are voting for when they vote Democrat: Higher inflation, soft-on-crime policies, no border security and radical Left ideas that are out-of-touch with where the country is. The NRSC continues to be in full force as we reach the three-and-a-half-month mark, and we will continue working hard to raise money and deliver a Republican majority in the Senate in November.”
